STEEL F - 155 ( 18 CD 4)

Employee only on demand. This material is normally used for subsequent hardening and cementation of the material. The treatment of tempering and cementation implies a deformation of the piece that requires a subsequent grinding of the same, both of the wrists that require a close tolerance of finish as of the threads, teeth, etc. The characteristics that follow are for a tempered material at 880º C.

  • Tensile strength (N / mm2): 931-1372.
  • Elongation%.: 9 - 10.

Properties: this material combines the action of Cr and Mo, which represents a significant increase in terms of hardenability.
